What is Canadian border fee?2024-02-26T18:03:35+00:00

This fee IS NOT A Customs Entry Fee. The transborder trucking service does NOT INCLUDE a Customs Entry in the rate. Your consignee must arrange for a customs broker to clear the shipment. Its a best practice to call your consignee before you ship and find out who their Customs Broker is and get their details. You can then enter that in the special instructions section of the Bill of lading at time of booking. If you do not enter a customs broker in the special instructions the carrier will attempt to call the consignee to find out who their broker is. In some cases, this will delay the shipment.
